Curious what it sounds like without BOV and with a recirculating dump.

@ShoGun can tell you a little more about his kit - here is a quick sound of the UEL on his particular set up

https://www.instagram.com/p/BSSG-59F...ken-by=86speed

Edit - and that is just water coming out of the cat back from sitting inside the shop for a few days with temp changes - The temps went from 90 back to 50s in a few days here in Vegas

I am not sure if we will do a full detailed video on a complete install but we are glad to answer any questions, it is a pretty straight forward install for us, but we can do a video later to cover some of the details to look out for, We covered most of it during our recap video of the install on YouTube. there is 3 over view vids and more clips on IG.

Any of the other kits prior to 3/15 are the previous design. This is the newer kit with the different intercooler - This is the second install of the new kit besides the one done at @JDLAutoDesign. The best way to contact us is our general inbox for any questions about this kit support @ 86speed.com

This kit is the Garrett upgraded kit with Black coating on the hot and cold side, and the additional oil pan and an omni map sensor.

We are doing another install very soon in Titanium w/ different color cold side.

thx

Purchased the kit (Garrett) from 86Speed like 3 weeks-ish ago. I'll for sure post some updates when I get it installed in terms of pictures, videos, etc. Any specific requests?

No, it shipped out earlier today. I got the fastest shipping on it so it might be here tomorrow, if that's the case I should have it in by late Sunday. Tracking only shows the label being created still with an est. date of the 13th so I imagine it'll update after it's scanned into FedEx's system. It's coming out of PHX, I think straight from JDL, so I suppose the shipping option could have been incorrect (hopefully not) and if that's the case I'll have it in by next weekend which isn't really any issue. I'll post up a video after the install and some pictures, maybe pictures of the install if anyone is interested. If you have any questions feel free to throw them at me and I'll do my best to cover them when I get started.

Other than that I'll have 86speed's Moto-East flex fuel kit with larger injectors and fuel pump, as well as the tune. Will be getting my new clutch put in soon also at a shop because screw doing that nonsense myself lol. I'll throw it on a Dyno within the next few weeks to see what numbers I'm pushing and I'll be sure to post pictures along with a more detailed list of parts.

Needless to say, I'm excited. I ordered everything from 86Speed so huge shout out to those guys and all the help they've given over the phone. For sure recommend them to anyone looking for parts especially if you have questions or need suggestions.

I ordered through another distributor last friday (3/31) seems that everything ordered before this week is shipping already, but no confirmation yet.

Do you have a sound clip of your setup? I'm weighing the pros and cons of recirculated vs open, but I haven't found a solid comparison for our cars.

Can you define "a bit more" lol

This kit is super appealing, especially at the price point! I am getting some form of FI this summer, and was between the jackson and kraftwerks kits, but the kid in me really wants all the whooshing noises and sudden power surges

Besides the price bump, are there any drawbacks to the no-cut option performance wise?

If I were to add a flex fuel kit to this setup, would any additional supporting mods be mandatory for daily-driving reliability? I enjoy the car, but don't push it too hard or long...

I have the early jdl garret twinscroll setup with two tial gates. What would associated cost be to have recirculated downpipe and extras made and shipped to 36301. Thanks neal.
