" nobody knows whether it's track-only or like the Tc rc models..... " <-- Main reason why i like this message board.... wanna be knowitalls like you make forums boring....
Well perhaps reading more would actually help in this case because you seem really bitter and like the type of person that doesn't want to do the work and just have things handed to you (hence the other post you asked about trade in value)

I like message boards as well because there is always one lazy person that can't read or search for themselves or ask the same thing over and over when it is all black and white

honestly, i was looking for an honest opinion on whether ppl thought the rumors were more geared towards a race track car or a production ver. available to the public. This post is pretty fresh and ft86club usually gets the latest of the latests w/o having to go to a board that isn't in my readable language.... that's all... and like you said it was all speculation... so how could i do more research...?? but you went in an added your 2cents of nonsense... secondly... regarding my tc trade-in value... what's the reason to come to a forum... to ask about trade-in... possibly finding an interested buyer... or his opinion on going thru a private sell as opposed to a stealership and getting ripped off not too mention my car has a few bolt-on addons which i mentioned... and those can add value to a private buyer..... you honestly got no life to even remember my previous post and opine on it.... really... is this what you do all day... wait to give your unneeded opinion to ppl you consider 'lazy'? sad... hey rumor has it 2012 is coming... ur resolution should be to get a life...

let's try to stay away from the squabbles and focus on what brings us here.

subatoy- we should be expecting power gains to happen @ some point, especially since it's been reported several or more times that the powertrain engineers for the AS1 have said explicitly that the engine could handle more power.

Geeze, Toyota gave us the car we wanted according to reporters but never said they would deliver in the aftermarket division. They never explicitly came out and said anything about TRD performance upgrades from what i have read so far.(please correct me if i am wrong) That doesn't mean we shouldn't expect them but it looks like people are expecting too much off the back. Just letting things unfold as they go and stop making TRD look like a disappointment when they haven't promised anything yet.

What? No TRD supercharged, 300hp, track-ready AS1 with a roll cage and everything for under $25k?

What? I thought that was only going to cost 23k?

Screw this I'm going to buy a used GC V6 automatic. A real sports car!
