In other news looks like lots of people have migrated to using the FB page for these things. Any new news/events from Fresno/Cen Cal folks?

I think we finally decided on getting together in Merced during one of the monthly UC Merced car meets. This month's meet is on Sunday at 6pm at the UC Merced "Lake Lot". It is the large parking lot on the right as you enter through the main entrance "Scholars Lane".

This is an "all cars welcome" event, but it is also a great middle ground for people in the northern central valley (Modesto / Stockton) and southern central valley (Fresno / Visalia / Tulare).

We'll see how this turns out and decide how we can get more regular meets going from there.

Hey fellow members I'm Antonio. Grew up in Livingston and been living in San Jose the past 4 years. I'm down for the weekend in Turlock visiting family and seeing if anyone wants to meet up at sharkeys in Turlock at 630 for drinks and to watch the sharks game.

Not sure as its my first one. Usually around 5 twins i think is what someone said. But its an all make/model meet so the overall turnout is bigger.

Its not super late. Stay for an hour or two, home by 9. Im coming from Stockton. Though I go to almost anything, like weekday bay area meets that dont start til 7:30.

Its only one time a month. Come hang out for a bit

Outside of the handful I have met at certain meets we have tried to organize, you are a bunch of anti-social people.

I have tried over and over again to try to get us all to meet. The problem I have run across is that nobody from Fresno is willing to drive to modesto. Few from Modesto are willing to drive to Fresno, and no one seems to really want to meet in the middle (merced).

I've become so frustrated that I feel like giving up on them. I'm ALWAYS willing to meet, if it isn't a scheduling conflict (Saturday eve's are out).

I'm even making a point to try to make Dublin meets whenever I can!

Sadly I've been locked down with studying so I only make it out to CNCs where I say Tah Dizzle.

I don't mind driving to places and meeting new people, I used to do a few long drive when I was in the dc5 scene, it just that... I'm pretty sure everyone tired seeing a stock frs .
