Including mine I've done 6 sets.. The only ones I've had problems with are the ones people tried to clean and prep.. The housings that were not touched with anything have been flawless.. Was the plastic to hot or cold... The paint greasy, it's weird it would just flake up like that

I've used a variety of paints. Rustoleum, duplicolor, and VHT.. But I prefer rustoleum.. Best bet now is to clean it up with something that doesn't eat the plastic, then wipe it down.. I like stuff like PPG SXA cleaner degreaser, but you can use any product that cleans and degreases as long as it doesn't eat the plastic up.. Check mineral sports or something along those lines then clean with alcohol or anything like that.. The. Re spray.. I'm sure there are some paint masters around here.. I haven't been in paint and body work for like 7-8 years

do you think i can just use dish soap to clean it off? im not sure what caused the problem of flaking plastidip stuck on real well i tried but i cant really mask off parts of it... sighh i might try out krylon fusion paints.. i think there are ones that are mixed with primer too maybe that would help?

It's illegal everywhere, if you drive with them.. Parked in a parking lot and off road, then they will be fine.. I have them to but mine are a lot.... A lot more subtle.. I didn't want it to look like I had red lights left on.. Just a nice deep red glow
