So I feel your pain on that one; that was a LOOOONG morning, but worth it, because the air show was spectacular.

Trust me when I say that every time I've gone to this Cars & Coffee, in the past, there has been some SEVERE reluctancy on the part of my body/brain. "Wait, you want me to get up at WHAT TIME on a Sunday??"

But honestly, it's worth it. These guys are pretty big players in the exotic circles here in the GTA, and they have had some simply spectacular cars on display in the past. I went to my first one 2 summers ago, and they had a red Porsche 959 on display inside the shop (I had never seen one in person before and didn't know it was going to be there, so naturally I had a bit of a school-girl moment when I saw it), and later that same day, the only black Ferrari F40 in Canada showed up. Commence me having another school-girl moment.

Last year they had a Jaguar XJ220 at one of the events; I unfortunately was not able to attend that one, and was kicking myself for it, cause I have never seen one of those in person either.

I usually leave the show at a decent time, and go straight home to catch a nap to make it up to my body for getting up at 6am on a Sunday.
You know what feelsbadman, realising that we may die on this earth never having the chance own, let alone drive one of these cars in our lifetime...

Wing? You mean my Scion spoiler? Hardly a wing.

Yeah, but meh. I've been lucky enough having worked in the automotive industry for almost 10 years now, that I've been able to drive some machinery that I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd ever have a chance to. Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, Ferrari 360 Modena Spyder, Porsche 911 996 Turbo, countless Vipers (and even a Ram SRT-10!), McLaren MP4-12C, '72 MG Midget, '69 Mustang, Nissan GT-R R35, etc. etc. I also had a chance to sit in (not drive, unfortunately) a Porsche Carrera GT.

So honestly I'm pretty happy with just that. This is why I have somewhat of a "bucket list" of cars to at least see in person, and in the past couple of years, I've been able to cross quite a few off that list.

I actually have the exact same wing on my BRZ (swapped it for the ugly OEM BRZ wing a few years ago), and I might be removing it soon if you're interested...

Mine is silver.

... That's some decent luck you pulled there. I really want to drive something considered super without having to pay and sign a waver/agreement for the damn thing, but if it comes down to it, and that's the only way, that's what I'm going to do. It's a must for me, I damn near cried when I got my 86 I was so happy, I can't tell you what I would do if I could get into a 90's NSX..

FREE?!$$

The new BRZ wing isn't that appealing either lol, it was actually 50% the reason why I didn't get the BRZ.

Is your wing the same as the current Toyota "TRD" one? I'm under the impression they are.

Not free, but I doubt I'd ask TOO much for it...

And no it's not the same as the TRD wing; this would be the factory-installed "Scion" wing that only came on Monogram editions unless ordered, if I'm not mistaken...

I hated the 2013 BRZ wing so much that I did a full trunk swap with a guy with an FR-S, just to get rid of it.

Just went to website, my mistake, it's not TRD, but it is a factory option. It is the one I was interested in.

And that's exactly what I was thinking I would do if I got into a BRZ.. Trunk swap or buy a whole new one, but hassle, plus dollars, and the fact that I liked how the 86 looked more.. Wasn't worth the amount I was saving on BRZ vs 86.

Oh and it would depend on the cost to get the thing painted if it would be worth. Not sure how much paint matching something that small would cost.

Only logo I'd buy for would be a Red Honda logo.

Yep. Stock on Monogram and special order on anything else. Was actually a pretty common dealer installed item when they were building their own "value added" versions of cars (like mine).
