Here's a couple more photos. Really fun to have so many 86s in different colors at the shop.

I told Neal that the wide angle lens distortion in the second shot makes his orange 86 look like an Aston Martin. Time to rebadge that thing!

Tom is one of the best, naturally good drivers I have ever met! He's slaying autocross down in San Diego with the Yaris and is currently 1st in his class!

Got one of those awesome reviews every business owner loves to read! The owner doesn't frequent the forum too often, so I thought I'd share.

Before discovering Racer's Line I was on the look out for a shop that would provide me with the easiest, most stress free modding experience, with top notch work and fair pricing. I wanted a shop that at least had experience with 86's. This meant traveling far far away from my home on the central coast to either LA or the Bay Area. As far as I know Racer's Line is the only full service auto shop in CA that specializes in the twins. He has installed every FI kit out there many times over. This is not a hobby or second job for Neal, he is fully devoted to having his own successful shop and keeping all of his customers happy.

Unlike most people who slowly modify their car over time, I took the opposite approach. I drove the car stock for two years while setting aside money to either a) trade up for a factory turbo twin (don't hold your breath) b) supercharge the frs while staying carb legal c) pick up a used cayman s. Ultimately B was the obvious choice for me. Still not sure if we'll ever get a turbo from the factory and the idea of owning a german car that would be going on a decade old didn't sit well with me.

Although not having a garage or a lot of experience wrenching I was definitely nervous about putting an FI kit on a car that was still under factory warranty. The fact that there was no local shop with 86 experience only added to my nerves along with horror stories you read on the forum. I was really looking for a one stop shop that could do all the work in a timely manner and didn't mind installing some parts that were purchased elsewhere. Within hours of contacting Neal he got back to with a detailed quote including tax and everything. Right off the bat I could tell that Neal's customer service was above and beyond what I had experienced contacting other shops. Other shops refused to install parts they didn't sell me or just gave me the impression that I wasn't an important customer because I wasn't dropping off my gtr or gt3 to have 50k in mods done. Although to me it felt like I was spending a lot!

Neal installed the following parts on my 2014 frs, perrin catback, jrsc carb kit, jackson combo radiator/oil cooler, brake pads and fluid, transmission fluid, headlights, recaro drivers seat, prova steering wheel, passport built in radar detector along with some jpm coachworks and other interior bits. He did a fantastic job for a great price. Had to have him yank the kartboy short shifter due to rattle but that's no fault of Neal's and seems to be a very common problem. Bottom line if you want to support an awesome small business that is providing an excellent service to the 86 community, give Racer's Line a shot. Neal will not disappoint you
Also, some pictures from last weekend and this week!

Another Edelbrock in the Bay! Tuned by Shiv with an OFT

Last weekend, had a little photoshoot!

Then I chopped some holes in Adam's hood!

This poor RS1.0 decided it didn't want a throwout bearing anymore.

360 Panorama of The Racers Line

Here's a high res 360 panorama from inside The Racers Line.
Spin around and see almost all of the FT86 colors: https://db.tt/ytmxg7VB

If you're on an iPhone or iPad, move the device to navigate the panorama.

@PMok - Nice DIY shooting brake, but I think you overdid it on the staggered wheel sizes...

If you right click on the desktop, or hold one finger on the image on an iPhone or iPad and let go, you'll get a menu that lets you switch the projection of the panorama. Little Planet is pretty fun: https://db.tt/ytmxg7VB

Good way to experience vertigo if you've never felt it before.
