those exhaust tips look great! I'm still on the fence on doing that or just waiting and picking up a nameless exhaust.

I know ARK performance is sending my buddy one of their prototype systems for their shop car...if it ever arrives. We'll see how it compares to the nameless or perrin.

I'll be watching the upcoming nameless axleback group buy and if the price is right, I may bite early. Otherwise at $40 for a pair of these DC tips, why not? http://amzn.com/B003D4MA30

Where did you get the chrome bulbs for the tail-lights. And were they hard to install? Thanks!

Congrats! The CBS color looks great. How do you like the exhaust tips? How do they sound?

Took 5 minutes to install all 4. Fronts come out straight from the headlight assembly with the hood up, the rears you just have to pop the rivets out of the trunk liner and pull it back to get access to the tail light housings and then pull the bulbs out and swap them.

The tips took me all of 10 minutes to install and adjust to perfection. They look great IMO but the sound hasn't changed at all (at least from my perspective in the driver's seat) as they are just tips and they are after the muffler.

Got her tinted today. I removed the top of the third brake light myself (how to DIY) when I got to the tint shop and they had their own tool to hold the window buttons down while tinting. I went with 20% all around and a strip on the windshield. This car is too damn shiny, lol! I have to wait until nearly sundown to get decent pictures of it outdoors!

Is there any color that doesn't look great on the FRS/BRZ?

Very nice for using the stock cable. I just wish I was good with electionics. I want to run the mute button on top of my steeing column and have a flat wire under the windshield and down the passenger side pillar.

Yeah the mute button would be nice to have easy access to, but I think Escorts will mute if you hit one of the top buttons on the detector itself, won't they? Now I'm second guessing. I usually don't keep mine turned up all the way, maybe 3/4 if I'm listening to music, and the 8500 quiets itself down to 1/4 volume after a few seconds of continuous alert.

Officially a week old in my ownership, 175 miles on the clock, and just a tick under 1/2 tank of the original dealer fill-up. She chirps like a cricket loudly when warm at idle presumably due to the ethanol in the gas around here and/or the harmless issues with the DI fuel pump, but hopefully a TSB will be out soon and revised parts will be available to kill the chirp.

Still loving every moment behind the wheel. I love people's reactions to the car. I saw a guy in an Outback today pass me slowly in the opposite direction in a parking lot with his eyes glued to the car and a smile on his face. I slowed down, gave him a wave and smiled back.

Yes, there is a mute button up top. The left one I believe. I have my mounted higher (next to the rearview mirror) so it's harder to hit the mute button.

It's under the hood in the engine bay, which is probably why you never found it.
