This duck tail also covers the holes left from the 17+ GT spoiler. In fact... it covers the whole damn trunk!

Wow I've never seen one that covers the whole trunk like that, I think I'm just going to go with the SeidoWorks whaletail and vinyl wrap the holes or something

Mocked up a (sketchy) sketch of the ModBargains CFW ducktail versus where the holes on our trunks are located. The top photo, along with all of its lines/measurements, are at 2 degrees more of an angle than the bottom photo and its lines. The lines themselves are identical in length. Maybe someone who actually knows what they're doing can help...
Basically, this duck tail may cover the 2017+ holes or will come very very close. I called ModBargains and they said they have not tried it themselves. Does someone with balls + money want to find out for us?

i know this is somewhat of an old thread, but as a new owner of an '18 BRZ, i tried to look for solutions for a spoiler that would cover the holes left by the stock limited spoiler..and this thread is still at the top of that search.
anyways, id just like to add that Verus Engineering is currently taking inquiries and deposits down for a carbon ducktail spoiler that is ~12mm further inbound to cover the +17 86/brz trunk holes. im not sure the proper way to link to the thread showing their data and discussions for the spoiler..but its out there! |
