pretty much nascar right? i dont think this car is going to be any more race car than the hellcat. still dont think their opinions are on the right track either though.

I'd say this thing is closer to a NASCAR 'stock' car than a Hellcat (in the # of areas attention was paid to it). It's not all about power. It is certainly more race car than probably 95% of the stock or 'tuned/modified' 86s that have hit the track under private ownership to date. Whether it's worth the price or can even be acquired by the moaners is another thing. We can certainly agree on that last point.

I was only pointing out that your description of the Dodge was along the lines of nascar. I don't know enough about either car to agree or disagree with what you're saying but it's clear we have similar values in a track car.

Yup, gotcha. I read your first two different ways. I think in this case, we can agree to agree lol.

Not a fan of the video but it's good to have. Aggressive edit of the stock 86. Did it kill all the cones or blow an injector seal?

I guess we should should rename it from track edition to parking lot edition. Put the thing on Tsukuba already and get some numbers!

yes it's a track car, the red one behind it and the griffon in the video is the street car.

you wouldn't see any sort of crazy power jump like an american company, such as dodge's challenger hellcat. power jumps are more of an american/european approach.
Totally agree, but I have a bit of an issue with pointless aero. Sure it may be R&D'd but what does a 200hp car that doesn't easily clear 105mph benefit from upgraded aero?

Just curious, at what speed do you think aero is required?

Most auto actuated spoilers go up at 60mph, btw.

Better question is why does his car not break 105 mph...I know mine as well as a few others have no problem getting there in 4th gear...
