No coolant light

I noticed I have no more coolant in my coolant container but why hasnt my low coolant light turned on? Is it normal for coolant to fully drain after 1.5 years of having the car? I only have 16k miles

1) because your system is still full...
2) it does need to be replenished regularly (the overflow tank)

There's no low coolant light. You'll just see your coolant temp gauge go really high or the ECU will throw a CEL for low voltage on coolant temp sensor if it's dangerously low. If not just top off with Subaru/Toyota OEM BLUE coolant or distilled water and should be good to go. Reason I know is I've had my engine nearly overheat twice due to a leaking radiator where it was dumping coolant.

Just top it off with distilled water. It seems that the water is evaporating from the coolant reservoir, so the concentration of coolant remains the same. If you added more coolant it would just create a higher concentration
