Shop recommendation for routine maintenance?

Does anyone recommend anyplace for routine maintenance on my 86 near Cupertino, Sunnyvale, West San Jose? I've been going to Palo Alto where I bought it, but it's kind of far and also pricey.

With our old Camry we were happy with Yarnell in MV. I don't know if they work on the 86 but I plan to ask. Any other possibilities?

TIA

For routine stuff you could probably as your old Yarnell shop, since routine stuff is pretty straightforward. Otherwise I recommend Auto Headquarter in Mountain View.

Elite Performance in Burlingame is my go to shop for all my performance vehicles in that part of the bay area.

Honestly, I would recommended contacting Ezekiel at CMAutohaus over in Fremont. He's super knowledge and is very in depth and fairly well known in the community as an AE86 specialist but also works on a ton of the BRZ/FRS/86 platform and other JDM cars as well! He's been maintaining my BRZ for over a year. Auto Headquarter in Mountain View is great as well but honestly I feel like they're most in tune with STIs and WRXs and have given me mixed information vs what Ezekiel and CSG and Neal have given me. But after all my experiences, probably the 3 shops I'd recommend are:

CM Autohaus
Elite Performance
The Racers Line

For regular maintenance, The Driveway has been solid for me the past couple years. They're sort of in South/central-ish San Jose.

Tell them Daniel w/ the White BRZ sent you. They're more known for their engine builds for WRX's but happily work on your BRZ.

Wanted to give a shout-out to Unique Automotive in outer mission. They let me bring my own oil and filter and also collect the used oil analysis container and did the job for $30! Never crawling on my ass ever again. One of the most honest places with really reasonable prices still in SF. Came here without an appointment for an oil change a hour before closing yesterday. Will be coming back for other jobs in the future. Service manager Daniel was great, my car was lowered and they put it up on ramps carefully to clear the lift. Highly recommended. Most places don’t let you bring your own oil and parts these days

Happy Works Motorsports customer here. They are located in Sonoma Raceway. They serviced my 2013 track-prepped BRZ and now my dual-duty 2023 BRZ. Clean shop, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and skilled mechanics. I always enjoy chatting with Jeff and Pete, plus getting to check out race cars, track cars, and tuner cars they maintain.
