Airlift bags on 18x9.5 (235/40) Any issues?

Hey guys, ive been doing a little research and I cant seem to find a good answer. Im currently running 18x9.5 on 235/40. Will I be rubbing on the bags while driving? I really do not want to add spacers since I dont want to run into rubbing fenders etc. If these will rub, what are some options that I can take to make sure they wouldn't rub?
Thanks!

Air suspension or airlift bags are rarely chosen/bought. Try searching threads about those and ask there or someone there via PM. Purely speculating, 9.5" IIRC was close to max width on ours as is. IF airbags means thicker then even stock shocks, then imho there is big chance to rub with these wheels. People fitting on unnecessary wide wheels often fit some aftermarket coilovers that are thinner in diameter. I doubt one with airbags will be thinner. Though you of course can inquire manufacturer/seller on dimensions.

Ive tried looking around with no straightfoward answer. And I still have not gotten a reply from Airlift. Thanks tho!

There is no straight forward answer.
If you are running bags, more likely than not, you are looking for the tightest fitment possible and not all cars are made exactly the same.
Offset matters.
Height matters.
Camber matters.
Fender roll matters.
Tire size/shape/brand/model matters.
What kit you use matters.
From what I remember you need about 20-30mm more clearance than say a 18x9.5 +35. So +15 9.5 should fit. I doubt you have +15 in 5x100.
Your best bet is to search for the airbag thread and go from there.
Most people don't like posting their setups because they spend lots of time and $$$$ to get it right and don't want people taking the easy route and just copying them.

To get it "right" in my book was to NOT fit too wide wheels & tires. And i DIDN'T spend much to get (keep) car that way .
+15 .. hmm, maybe some longer studs & spacers can help .. of course prior purchasing one should check if that's right spacer thickness, and also if rubbing won't start at fender. And you wrote that you don't want spacers.
There is also option of installing wide body kit in addition to spacers.

But in general my advice would be, if those wheels are required, - to eliminate need for airbags - reduce drop and back some ride height back (most probable reason why you thought about them, right?). This way you'll gain back daily practicality going over roadbumps/steep driveways, and suspension will actually have some travel (especially in rear) to be actually able to work to soak road imperfections/add comfort/add stability/add grip/add daily driving compliance.
Or sell those wheels and get something more sensible. x8 if your care about weight and nimbleness, wider, only if you need extra rubber for auto-x due some class limitations (which i doubt, as rarely stance/drop people do auto-x or HPDE).
Or better - both! Both reduce drop and saner width wheels.

If you did wide wheels and extreme drop due your friends thinking "it's cool" .. imho those are "wrong friends" , as making car worse and paying lot of own money for that + keep buying stuff to "fix/bandaid" problems such decision brought is not cool in eyes of sane persons

You will have issues on the front. With minimal camber and a 235 you will be looking at like a +5 to +10 offset. And no way you will clear that on the fender.

A lot of this depends on what camber you run and how you get that camber (top plate vs at the strut mount), but 18x9.5 you'd probably want +25 or less offset, ideally +20 or so for a 235. I run 225/40 +21 and easily have clearance, but I'm right at the fenders when aired out. There's a bigger airlift thread here with lots more info.
