Yeah I guess that happens too. People usually see ME as the guy with the hook ups/connections. For a while I thought my luck might have been running out... but I think it just slowed down and is now picking back up.

I know you can get TPMS sensors from TireRack for about $200ish.

Dayum! $200? Is that per set? They quite me $60 per set (that include programming), but I only paid $45 for all 4

Yup, $200 for a set of 4. The Toyota dealership quoted me about $700 for OEM ones. Looks like I'll be going to discount tire when I get a chance!

I would call around local tire shops before hand, cuz you might have some local shop that can beat discount tires.

Today I installed my third temporary registration tag in a row!

Sigh. My actual license plate got lost in the mail, so I'm on temp tags until the dealership can pull the title back from the bank and have another plate issued. That being said, my dealer has been excellent to me during the whole issue.

I'm in Alaska. Everything is sucky up here when it comes to pricing.

Enjoyed the 90 degree weather, vaped a bit and washed the car. Too many tourists here to even enjoy driving around now.

Tourists in Alabama? I was thinking about driving through there after Dallas on my way to Jersey when I move next year. Are you now saying that my BRZ would not be welcomed in Alabama?

Bought some Mtec springs, picked up a car seat for the Suby because the wife is due next month. It's a [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Chicco-NextFit-Convertible-Seat-Mystique/dp/B00AHPZY68"]Chicco NextFit[/ame] and was the best fit for that space we have called a "back seat".

Lost a fight with a curb (FML)

But I'm still doing better than this guy I saw yesterday:

Your BRZ would be very welcome and if you come down to the Gulf Shores/Mobile area message me and we can meet up. It just gets tiring when it takes 30 minutes to go 2 miles. There's like only one BRZ in this town. A few in the next towns over.

Ah sweet! We'll see what happens. I'm planning on going as low as Dallas and then shooting through the South since it's been a dream of mine to hit all 50 states. It's definitely cool to have specific destinations and people to meet. During my road trip last year I met up with 2 FT86 members initially, met a few more, and stayed with a Canadian NASIOC member. Good times!

STI front under spoiler spells the last mod of the year for me. Now onto enjoying the summer driving months.

Make sure let us Dallas guys know when you are going to be around there if it fits into your trip! We have a pretty big group of 86's here and I'm sure we could make a special meet for an Alaskan 86!
