Scratched Glove Box!

I knew it was bound to happen but I was hopeing that it wouldn't be this soon. I had my daughter riding in the front with me today and she kicked the glove box. She must have had a rock or something on the bottom of her shoe and now I have a 1" scratch on it. Any suggestions? I know that I will not be able to get rid of it but does anybody know of a way to minimize the appearance of it?

Yeah, I keep the rear seats folded down and had some crap in the back that slid forward and almost shot through between the front seats, made a bit of a scratch on the centre console....grrrrr.

Really need to get a cargo net or install some high friction material back there.
