Backseat .. am i too optimist?

Hi people,

Having a family, I know i'm not the target market of the scion FR-S ... The car looks great, seems fun to drive. BUT I need a car that i can still take my kids in case of need where my first vehicule is not available (got the Rav4 for most of the time). So i did reserve my FRS but i'm scare that my kid wont be able to breath when seated behind

anyone had the chance to actually check the car and the space left behind?

it will fit babies and kids. teenagers and adults will feel cramp not because of the back seats themselves but because there is no room, seriously no room, to but anything else but 2 legs at almost 90 degree angle.

There is room if their kids, I've sat in the car there is decent room. adults probably it will become unfortable for long rides, if you have babies, may have trouble getting the baby seat in the back but I'm buying one and if i have a baby a few years down the road...deal with it.

I sat in the BRZ's backseat when it was demo'd at my local dealer. Your kids will hate that car once they hit puberty and grow. I am not kidding when I say they will hit their head on the glass and lose blood circulation to the legs. With that being said, this can be your personal fun car as long as you have the RAV4 for family duties.

Cool. That's what i hoped for... The idea is clealy the Rav4 for familly travel and cie but I ruled out two seater cuz there is always an occasion once a week or two where we need to take kids somewhere and one of the car is gone... So 2+2 seems like a good option

Thanks... now we want a call for the dealership right?

The back seats should be useable but not for long rides.
This car is Japanese in mind and body and those who is
6 feet plus will have issues with the back seat, but for those
Under 5 feet 5 (jdm girls) it should prove not to be an issue.

I spent 5 minutes riding in the backseat of my friend's FR-S tester. I'm 5'11" and it seriously is cramped. But fortunately, the front passenger is 5'4" so the seat was pulled a little more forward to give my legs some breathing room.

It's not a comfortable place to be for sure, but for short haul trips, it's doable. I just wouldn't recommend it.

This car is 2+2... but only can time it'll be 2+2 is all 4 were 5'4"~6" Asian chicks. Reality, it's 2+1. There's no way can fit someone behind me (me been the driver)... maybe baby w baby seat, but that's pretty much it

Mine are 4 and 1.5 - I'm hoping to fit the big Sunshine kids forward facing seats back there (narrow seats, fit in a 911). I'm 5'7 with 29" inseam so I think it will work, until they are 10.

Have a Santa Fe for any trips. Would never consider this as our only car. Strollers are HUGE.

One of the other considerations is the lack of windows back there. Kids like to look out windows.
