Intake manifold spacers

Hello forum! Has anybody did an intake manifold spacer mod on their cars? I've seen this " Crawford I/M/S ", @ ft86speedfactory website. showing some good HP/TQ gains. Just curious if they're worth the moola.

I think it stands out, especially the red ones. Gives the engine bay a nice different look to it, but I wouldn't expect much gains.

Only thing spacers are good for is to provide a convenient place for the nitrous nozzle.

You're thinking throttle body spacer, they're talking intake manifold spacer.

Wait is he talking about the Crawford Power Block spacers? or the one that just go off the intake?

The crawford power blocks do make power, but the colored intake spacers are just gimick (afaik)

My advice would be to read the engine thread..as that is where hundreds of posts have been made on this topic.

I got them. Everyone has their own opinion about them. I love mine as I do not wring the neck of my 86. With a tune and headers no torque dip at all.

Don't listen to those who've never tried it & just offer theoretical explanations as to why they're not effective. For those of us who've installed them, we are satisfied with it. mav1178 already has the figures & there are already many testings out there too https://motoiq.com/tested-crawford-p...ifold-spacers/. But if you want a short answer, YES, it does work. If you've been driving the same setup for a long time & you've become sensitive to any changes in your car, your butt dyno can even tell that there are gains.
