Brake light on dash comes on when stopping
When I'm coming to a stop the brake light on the dash will light up and then turn off when I'm moving again. This is a 2013 BRZ and it was in a front end collision on the right side. The rotors feel like they are slightly warped and the left side inner tie rod end was bent. Everything is fixed now other then the brake light on the dash and its the same light that turns on when the parking brake is pulled up just for reference.

Have you checked your brake fluid level?

Bad sensor or wire. Could be tough to find.

Typically as your pads wear, the fluid level drops along with it (as long as someone hasn't been refilling your reservoir along the way), so when your pads get low, your fluid level would reach a point where it turns on your "BRAKE" light on the dash.
I'm wondering if it's a bad sensor or broken wire causing an intermittent signal, as Tcoat mentioned. What was replaced as a part of the accident repairs?

Still putting my money on a damaged sensor or wire. The accident history is a bit of a giveaway.

Ok ok ok ok I feel like a DA !!!!!!!!!!! I had to walk out to the car just to look at the fluid level and its right on the minimum level line. So I'm guessing that the fluid is going to the front of the reservoir when I am on the brakes hard enough and tripping the low level sensor like guybo said.

If that's the case make sure your brakes aren't on the verge of running out of pad surface. If they are, then replace the pads and see where the fluid level ends up before you go topping it off.

Oh sure start keeping score now.
That is what I get for ignoring my own guideline of it is usually the simple thing so don't jump to the more complex based on minimal information. As was said it now needs to be checked as to why the level is so low. Just pouring more fluid in fixes the symptom not the cause.
