You sure make it sound like it is simple.
However I will repeat myself:

Unless one can point out the path of the oil in relation to this particular galley plug, then it is just speculation.

My race engine (different 4 cyl boxer) has about 10 different galley plugs and MOST of them would do absolutely zero in helping the engine in a failure.

Even if all you care about is pre-oiling (and not saving the engine in a failure), then it STILL matters where you feed the system.
Pick the wrong side of a restriction or a VVT valve that may or may-not be open, and the accusump might be useless.

You might be 100% correct, but a picture is worth a thousand words.
I have a complete diagram of my race engine oil flow.
Does anyone have one for this engine?

I have tapped into this plug for my oil pressure as it is after the oil filter .

Its the one directly under the TB wires and I got this pic from a quick google

Compared to other cars I've had, mostly domestic V8's. The accusump project us on hold until I get an oil pressure gauge so I can see how the oil pressure behaves myself. It may all just be a matter of a higher precharge and rpm switch to prevent losing the oil at idle.

I wish that accusump would make an electric valve that has an adjustable setpoint.

Thank you very much for teaching me how to google.
Now I guess you need to teach me how to read since I still connot find any mention of an accusump with an " electric valve that has an adjustable setpoint."

Read around in the product tech, it will explain how their valves work

In @stugray defense, what he is looking for isn't in that tech article about how the valves work. They do have 2 different kinds of electric valves, but not to do what he wants. He wants a way to SET the point (pressure) at which the valves open.. these all have preset values and no where does it say that you can adjust that preset value.

I HAVE read their tech documentation. I have BEEN reading their information and been using their products for years.

I see no mention of an adjustable pressure sensing valve, but since you are so sure that there is one, you must just be witholding information for the fun of it.

There is the 24-270 ACCUSUMP ELECTRIC VALVE - No pressure sensing feature (ON or OFF)
24-271 20-25 PSI sensing
24-271K (upgrade) 20-25 PSI
24-273 35-40 PSI sensing
24-273K (upgrade) 35-40 PSI
24-275 55-60 PSI sensing
24-275K (upgrade) 55-60 PSI

It's easy, just post the link to this information that I am so dense as to not be able to find....

I never said there is a valve you can manually set.

They have different valves set at different pressures as you yourself have listed.

pick a pressure that would be ideal for you.
See if there is a valve that corresponds to that pressure.
