OFT: L.C + F.F-Shifting : For your Aural Pleasure

I love aural

[ame]http://youtu.be/9qkO6eWGDMY[/ame]

Anyway, I just got the OpenFlashTablet Friday.

In short, best bang for you buck. Period. 4.5/5 stars.... because I already used a full tank of gas in 2 days.

I have been having so much fun. I don't even need to speak for the product, I want to personally thank Shiv for supporting our platform with such an incredible device.

I'll be adding more stuff to my build thread, but.. I'm going to be having too much fun to touch that for a while

Still learning the new dynamics of the car, so forgive any botchiness in the driving.

Also, I have to play around with the FF-Shifting rpm's... Shifting at 7,600rpm kind of causes the motor to bog slightly, but the power is still there.

Added a few more videos.. Should cover everything

"Just Cruising w/ New Tune"
[ame]http://youtu.be/92_S6RDyC8c[/ame]

Compared to crusing with the stock ROM, there is no more roughness and, surprisingly, whrere I droned before from 3k - 4k RPM... no more. Only about 300-400 rpms of drone in the entire revband with this tune.

The throttle mapping is perfect: before you had to really ask the motor to give you some power, where now there is more than enough available when you want it and wherever in the RPM band you want it.

"Gentle Flat Foot Shifting"
[ame]http://youtu.be/mOT1Gok1LR4[/ame]

Yes, the Land Rover really is that fast.

"Flat Foot Shifting, 2nd - 5th Gears"
[ame]http://youtu.be/IGLgy3S7Bko[/ame]

All shifts were done at 5,000 RPM ... Redline is currently 7,600 RPM

The car is amazingly seamless now... because now you don't have to worry about your right foot's timing, you can focus on the clutch timing between gear changes. It does not even feel like there is a transmission; engaging gears is as crisp as flipping a switch.

"Launch Control w/ Flat Foot Shifting, 1st - 3rd Gears"
