Yeah I just did the gear ratio calculator and it takes 5th gear to pass 100 and it tops out at 104ish. Is 1st gear still useful with how short it is? I want to do this to the auto and I think it might work better in the auto because at 80mph the revs will be at 3300 rpms instead of 4200+ in a manual. I'm torn between 4.88 and 5.29. But I feel greedy though and I want 5.29.

If I had the auto I would still get the 5.29. When we were drag racing on the lunch break at Shannonville my car was just as quick as the guys with better tires and intakes headers and a tune if that puts it in perspective. My car is all stock except for the gears, 1.5way diff, and driveshaft.

I'd be interested in a 4.88 goup buy, too.

I had contact with MFactory (Michael Yip - Senior Executive (Online Sales)).
At present, they only have 4.44 and 4.67 ratios available.
Although they are able to develop a 4.88, it would require to group together at minimum 10 sets.

Alright guys, I have an NA mt 13 brz. I've been lookino at fd's. can someone tell me the advantages of the 4.56, 4.67, and the 4.88? I drag race every once in a while and same with autox. which fd would be best for both? and also how does fd compare to an actual circuit track?

Very track dependant. In some tracks a shorter FD (meaning higher number) is more benefitial while in others you have to shift up right before a braking zone so its time lost there. I dont drive big ass circuits with long straights as there are none up here (Quebec, Canada) but in small circuits 4.56 seems to be better than 4.88 which seems to be better than stock 4.1.

I dont know of anyone running it in the track locally so I cant speak for that one. It would probably be better than 4.88 for medium and big circuits but worse for smaller ones but this is just speculation.
