Also realized that up north, like CT, NH area (including Toronto I guess) have BRZ's on the lot due to the geographical region, not as many people are keen on RWD's, so they will give discounts there. GL anywhere else where there's huge demand though.
i don't know about other areas but there are not a lot of BRZ in Toronto. Before i bought mine, i never even test drove one, cause there are no BRZ's on the lot.

my $750 discount is the new grad discount. I have graduated 2 years now so if i don't buy it in 2012 i can't use my new grad discount anymore.

Got mine at MSRP, after tax is about $35k for sports tech version, in Toronto.

Welp, I found a different dealer that beat the price. Today I got the SWP BRZ Limited with package 1B with chrome fender trim and fuel door $906 below msrp. I also picked up the dealer's two year maintenance package with it. Extremely happy with it. I am picking it up on Thursday when I get out of work. They also matched the $2700 trade in on my old beater civic after originally only offering me $1975

Cool thing is the dealer is 1/4 mile from my job so it is super convenient to take advantage of the maintenance.

Oh the sales manager threw in two free lift tickets to a local ski resort with the car.

All in all I think I did pretty well. Now I just have to break it in.

28599 is what I got the car for. SWP Limited, auto dim mirror and rear bumper applique. After warranty and aftermarket, came to 30100 and change. In Nebraska you pay taxes when you register. Put 17500 down.

trying to get an idea from limited owners. I'm looking at a WR Pearl Blue BRZ Limited and was quoted at a dealership in CT at 27,828.00 with out Tax, registration, doc fee, or destination charge. not sure if thats a good deal for a limited or not. Mind you I dont belive I will have to pay state tax on it (in the miltary) and I wont be paying registration fees as I will be registering it out of state and just doing a registration transfer from my GTI that I would be trading in to the BRZ.

If it's a 5 year loan, I'd imagine his payments are around $300 if not less. Also depends on his interest rate.

I got shafted, I'll admit. But I'm the type that gets what I want right away, and wanted the first shipment of the BRZ. Was waiting for an FR-S, a little bird at the Scion dealership told me there is one SWP BRZ Limited left in the Portland area, and he saw it driving by.

Saw the last one, I bought it for $33,000 which included 3M protective shield on front, side mirror, handles, doors, bumper, trunk, and fenders. 150,000 miles or 7 year full warranty, free 2 year service. My budget for a fun 2nd car was about ~$36,000 (originally looking at a Golf R) so it was still a deal in my mind and really wanted a BRZ over a FR-S.

I don't have any regrets, and I love driving this car. This is a car I will keep for a long time as a hobby. Unless AlfaRomeo finally decides to come to the US.. Then we'll see.

Exactly my thoughts when I went in to order mine today!

Oh, btw-- will be paying $31,374 off the lot-- think they weren't happy I wouldn't buy the DGM or silver ones they have on the lot buried in fresh snow...
