Seats look pretty nice and not too expensive for a bucket/racing seat like that

I could just about guarantee that the "new" TRD Lateral Link Set is the STi part rebadged as well as all of the bushing kits.

These aren't really questions that I wanted you to answer so much as to have people start thinking/looking at the accessories that they are receiving.

Edit: Did you happen to notice what was stamped on your Knee Pad Sets?
I don't have all STI and TRD accessories.
I am not an employee of STI or TRD.
STI doesn't have bushing kits for the BRZ yet, and in the past it was not as extensive as the TRD list, and TRD made their own bushing kits.

I have however, owned/own both Subarus and Toyotas.

The knee pads are OEM parts, we're talking about aftermarket TRD/STI parts. Confusingly enough STI doesn't make the STI shift knobs. Those are made/sold by Subaru, not through STI.

Finally, the STI lateral links use Pillowball Bushings, while TRD lateral links use hardened rubber bushings.

I can dig it.

But STi has always had an extensive offering of the exact same bushings that TRD will be offering for all other Subaru models - http://japanparts.com/images/ImageFr...ase=1&no=20796

I will still want to see the future of the STi/TRD offerings to see if there is any cooperation/rebadging.

For instance the first item on the list. The carbon fiber garnishes = 48000JPY, thats $544. Insane.

edit: My mistake, that for ONE garnish.
Typical TRD. Super pricey.

TRD Japan pricy (conversion + import). TRD USA pricing not really that inflated.

I'm surprised nobody is bitching that there aren't any aftermarket headlights being sold.

Based on numerous threads on this forum, it certainly doesn't seem like it. Vocal minority, right?

I'd do it if it improves response and clutch feel as much as I think it will. That is probably my largest drivability complaint for my car.

STi has been doing carbon braces for years as has been pointed out. FHI does have an aerospace division and carbon has been a huge force in aerospace for many years now.
