This car is too easy to break into!

I just locked my keys in my car. But, I was able to open it with a coat hanger in seconds. Bent the sucker straight, added a 3/4' bend on the end, slipped between the windows, and flipped the rocker next to the handle. The alarm does not go off doing it this way either.

All cars are pretty much this easy to brake into...

I have used a slim jim ( or other more specific door tool) on hundreds of cars. Integra's, civics, other older cars are easy. Try opening a Volvo or BMW. Not as easy.

I have this set...

As for Volvo- many are pretty easy. I did a lockout for a guy once who went into this explanation about the Volvo advanced anti-theft system and how he needed a tow not a lockout and furthermore... then I handed him his keys mid-sentence and he STFU.

BMW however, I have to agree. The older ones would even kill you if you were locked inside and the battery was dead (it did happen). They changed that so the driver door opens when you pull the handle twice.

As for an 86, they are as easy as any car with frameless windows. Don't use a slim jim with one though LOL.

Today, I didn't do anything to my FR-S. My FR-S is doing something to me.

At random times I attempt to use the key fob, my car will not respond to the signals at all, nor will they respond when I attempt to open or close the doors and trunk from inside the car itself.

I'll look into getting into a new battery, but I find it weird that my car starts perfectly for some teason.

Probably requires more power to transmit an active signal from the key fob when you press the buttons on it than for whatever passive proximity sensor it uses for starting the car.

I finally made a video. You can hear the car idling, and the first driving clip has the sound on the interior. The headers are catless UEL, and the frontpipe is catless resonated now. Catback is completely stock.

Drive bys in the video are also with the catless exhaust.

For everyone else; I made this video for my FRS today!!! We should start a videos thread. (No, not TJ hunt videos or other professional footage. I mean home brew stuff)
