People's Reaction to Your New FR-S

Several people have asked how I like it and mention they are considering getting one.

anyone else get people telling them that they think the front looks corvette...ISH?

ive had a family member tell me this and a couple random dudes in parking lots.

PS the guy who delivers pizza is always like.. "how come your not driving your car?" when he comes to deliver pizza i tell em i save it for late night when there is no traffic around

The day I got her, all the neighbors came outside to whistle at her. A guy flagged me down on I20 to scream how 'bad ass' she was while he was leaning over his kid who couldn't have been older than 10. Been on two road trips in the past week and both times I've had people braking and speeding up to get a good look. Flirted with a Nismo Z for about 60 miles around a mountain in Tennessee. He honked several times when we parted ways. :happy0180:

I walked into work Friday afternoon and the girl at the front desk said "All the guards love your car. They keep asking me who owns it. I had no idea it was yours. They won't stop talking about it and they keep telling me its like an $80,000 car."

I couldn't stop laughing. That made my day.

Girl at El Pollo Loco was all gushing over my car. I've had an asian, caucasian and hispanic girl all telling me how much they like my car. Chicks just love it not matter their ethnicity.

Today alone:

Autozone manager came out and asked to sit in it.

3 impreza drivers (sti +2 wrx) pulled up around it while at subway... thought they were gonna start a circle jerk or something :p

30-somthing year old in a volvo pulled up next to me at a light and was like "That thing is BAD TO THE BONE!"

Also, I was at the tire shop today having them switch out my rear tires (long story lol) and the kid who was supposed to drive it into the shop couldn't find the clutch! (AT but the boot on the shifter fooled him) needless to say the rest of the shop stood around while the manager put the new tires on :p

Anyway, my reaction to seeing my first FR-S (who we've decided was probably @post_break in Friendswood) was totally turning around in my seat to look at the car and was telling my girlfriend how that is the car I'm getting, and she was like, "ooh, how sexy."

When I get my car, I'm definitely making a point of waving at every FR-S I see, since that's what the Celica community does.

i came from a 00' celica too! she rattled a lot but was fun to drive, LIIIIIIFFFTTTT 8k+ rpms has a soft spot in my heart, one day my frs will rev that high

i remember how good i "thought" my celica handled till i broke in the FRS...my god is it good, im spoiled now with handling... lol

i had a subie club speed up and pass really slow then speed off 5 cars 5 thumbs up out the window

had the same thing with a GTR club happen too in north plano texas, funny how a person can give the "im so jelly" look out of their 100k car lol... especially at a scion, makes me feel all good inside

Yesterday some guy at the 7-11 asked if it handled as good as it does in the commercial

Getting gas Monday afternoon when a guy in a 2000 4 door Integra pulled in to the station just to look at the car and chat, worse part of it was he was on a DATE

A VW R32 pulled up beside me and was telling me to roll down my windows, asked me how I liked it and how it compared to the BRZ. Told him I liked both but chose the FR-S based on my needs, he said it's a beautiful car anyways.

I enjoy the enthusiast appreciating the cars whether it's Euro or from Asian descent. He had a nice R32.
