So recently I have fitted a cusco front strut brace with brake master cylinder stopper. And also a set of Goodridge braided brake lines and dot 5.1 brake fluid. I was originally pretty unhappy with the feel of the brakes. When I jumped on them quite hard they would initially feel a little spongy. Now it feels a lot firmer and I'm really happy with it.

I also bought an individual racing parts short shifter which is being built this week and should be posted next week. We got a really good price in a group buy and managed to get the H pattern on the reverse button as that is a legal requirement where I live.

I have been talking to many people and businesses regarding forced induction and now feel happy to go down the turbo route over the hks supercharger. More specifically I am wanting to use a borgwarner efr twin scroll turbo. At this stage I think a 6758 will be the one I go with. I could go to a bigger turbo and realistically only lose 500rpm but I really don't need to go bigger.

Here is a pic of the kit a local company makes.

And this is the intercooler kit I would use (this pic uses a different manifold)

I got my IRP short shifter installed tonight

There is a slight rattle in most gears except 6th at highway speeds but it is of no concern to me. If you hold the gear knob the rattle goes away so I think it is the reverse button vibrating as all parts are metal.

All in all I'm extremely happy with the short shifter and it really adds to the driving experience this car provides

So my car received a lot of hail damage on Saturday. I'm fully insured so I'm not worried. I started the process to get it repaired today and we found almost 100 dents over every panel except the passenger door. More than 50% of the damage is on the hood as it is quite a soft metal.

It's hard to take photos of hail damage but you can see the distorted reflection from one of the larger dents. 95% of the dents are small and should be able to be removed without being repainted

Been looking for wheels but can't decide on colours.
Tossing up between matte bronze barrels or gloss. But these are the m1 3 piece in the colours I like

If anyone is a wiz at photoshop seeing these on a white 86 with trd kit would help my decision alot

Best I could do for now:

Matte:

I failed trying to replicate a gloss effect and couldn't find any Meister with gloss bronze lip fitted. If you find a picture of these wheels in gloss fitted to any car, let me know

I think this pic should work for a glossy wheel. Also I've attached attached rear pic if you have time I would love to see the car from the rear with these wheels. Once again I appreciate the effort you have made for me

Sure, no problem. All though that picture is pretty low resolution so this is the best I could do (gave you a set of quad tips free of charge too )

Edit: also F* that hail and good luck with the force induction

Wow I really like that. Thanks for your work to make that for me. Add some kouki tail lights and it's pretty much perfect

I'm going in to get my car assessed on Friday at a paint less dent removal shop so hopefully it will all be fixed in the next month

No problem. I noticed a pretty sloppy error, so here is your Kouki:

So I got bored and wanted something to install on my car so bought this

I also bought a spacer for the oil filter which gives me 2 ports to use for sensors and also a greddy elbow to replace where to factory radiator cap goes which I will use for my coolant temp sensor

So the installation of my defi zd is more complex than I originally thought as our cars use canbus for speed signal. All of the searching I have done does not give me any definite answers. There have been a few guys on here attempt the install but there are no updates to if they managed to source an rpm and speed reference
