Really like how you painted the hood. I've been thinking about getting that same hood and painting it in a similar fashion... I think i'd bring the white down into the exhaust grooves a little further tho.

I can tell the painter didn't get the color just right.. My painter for my satin white pearl brz didn't get the color right either on my rb kit... It actually looks just like your hood ( a lot more white and less tinted pearl ). I wonder what it is about this color that gives body shops a hard time...

I like the note of the exhaust but have been extremely disappointed with fitment. The tip is off center regardless of how I play around with the slip-joints and only gets worse over time (I.e., after I adjust closer to the center, it slowly offsets itself again over time). Even the pics of the EVS BRZ with this exhaust show how it's off to the side of the cutout. For me, it eventually began to melt the area around my rear bumper after an autocross and got worse after a track day. Just be careful.
I see the same so I stuck out the tip all the way to prevent melting, well hopefully it does.

I know painter have issue matching the car, I guess it the price you pay for white. I notice sometimes when I Park next to another whiteout it not the same color.

In regards to painting the vents I couldn't figure out where to stop the paint due body lines of the hood, so u just stop when the line stop.

Added racer x master brake brace. It pretty positive effect on brake pedal feedback. I think one of cheapest mods that actually worth the money.

I added TRD steering which I got in automatic version, I was told the automatic version would work for the mt. I got this version due to steering wheel being discontinued. I like the thickness of the steering wheel, the higher quality leather, retain the function of stock airbag, and OEM quality . For the price I don't think it worth it on an early part of the build but for later part of progression of a build I think it okay.

Did some minor mods for suspension for my track day and switch to r888. Planning to stop this build though. I plan on changing the rear end and getting oil cooler. I probably won’t do anything else to it after that.

I just pick 2018 Honda Civic Si. Comparing the two cars is really hard. The engine for sure I like in the Civic due to turbo and that nice mid range torque. Plus the MPG on the civic is really good for sporty feel. In city driving I average 32-34mpg with moderate driving. The gear box I prefer in the civic better to how smooth the shifting is. The handling I would give to the twins. The civic would understeer on turn in and only when exiting with gas it feel neutral due to lsd from the civic. If you ask which one I would pick it really depend on your lifestyle: family, MPG importance, back seat, and overall space

Will probably be modifying the civic for now and see how it does at local track.
