Custom or Vintage Subaru Emblems?

Anyone know a good place or person to get custom emblems done?

My BRZ is getting a new front bumper right now at the shop and I chose to have the emblem shaved (free vs. $58 for a new OEM emblem). I decided shaving it also gives me more options for getting a custom emblem since it'd be a blank surface that I can just attach stuff to using 3M tape lol.

I did some searching and didnt find much. Most of the results were just vinyl overlays, which is not what I want.

Also, kinda liking the vintage Subaru emblem since it doesnt have the blue background:

But I cant find that anywhere either

Worth trying to contact them. Hell, if you could just get the model you could scale it to whatever you wanted.

Polished plastic is cheap (as it's usually solvent polished) and you could hand finish it if so desired.

I know there's a company that makes custom stainless/aluminum badges but can't remember where I saw them.

Try billet badges, you can see samples of their work on YouTube -> Tom's Turbo Garage Miata.

I guess I'll give it a shot. I've made custom 3D printed stuff myself through shapeways before, so it wouldnt be too hard for me to modify the model.

I found those guys via google, definitely looks like good work. Kinda scared to know how much it'd cost me though lol. Haven't had time to fill out the fairly detailed forms for a quote yet.

Oooh nice. I just messaged him. At this point I think I just want the modern Subaru emblem but without the blue background. Hopefully thats do-able without being too expensive.

Quick update, got in touch with Pete

Prelim pic from him, I'll probably have it in my mailbox by end of the month. Bought front and rear, not sure if I want to put it on the front yet.

Pics of my car for reference:
