It should be between 91 and 95 depending on what the Minimum Octane Rating is. 93 should be a fine choice.

Since you are in AU the 98 RON in AU is rated differently then the US is more likely to be closer to 93 octane here in the US. We have learned this through tuning BMW's worldwide.

The setup you have will work perfectly fine with the stage1. You don't need a custom tune for this.

Do this mean that stage1 will work for stock cars and cars with bolt ons?

also when you expect to have stage2 available for downloading?

Yes the stage1 will work with stock car if you have 930ct and/or minor bolt ons.

Stage2 will be out shortly.

Has there been any significant progress with making this tuning platform more corn friendly? I know myself and many others would like to save $1/gallon while making some more power. If you guys could get partnership with @FA20Club.com for his FlexFuel kit, I could see the market expanding quicker (and lead to more FF Kit Sales for FA20).

Right now, just e85. It will take more time to sort out flexfuel code. Time that we would like to put into FI kit support first.

Now is it just no light, and the fault code is still there or does it just not register the fault at all?

Now this makes me happy to hear. I have the money for my next car payment and most of my tuition already set so after I pay that (which just means waiting for my next credit card cycle), I should have plenty to get the tablet and still have enough for the next payment (and the rest of my bills of course). By the time I am ready to drop money, the e85 should be out and who knows, we might even see a 450whp BRZ/FR-S that was tuned with an OpenFlash tuning (totally possible since FBM hit 603whp on a stock motor).

Feel free to use me and my car for flex fuel testing. I can get log and take voltage readings if need be.
