Generally ppl thinks AWD is the best for winter... well it's half true. Yes, AWD will help go forward better than 2WD, but stopping is same damn thing. They don't get that part. I love when they counter w "Well, it help move around in the snow."... even though TIRES helps more than drivetrain.

but 4wd(center locked) definitely stops better because of the alterations to the brake bias. at the cost of numbing steering inputs though.

Bing bing bing, I support 949 immensely. but before I came here, I used him to get me one for the ND miata, and would even ask him about the 2017 BRZ

949 is officially "in works" for a 17 Plus adapter, which I will buy one from them

Giacomo would charge like 370 USD to get one of his adapters here stateside. 949 buys in bulk and the cost per goes down as such.

now if I had a special car or something 949 didnt support. hell yeah

Is having metal shavings in trans fluid something to watch out for? This was my second time having a shop change it and I was surprised to hear that since I thought I’d read on here that it should only happen during the break in period and for the first trans fluid change. Also still having trouble occasionally shifting into third even with the new fluid. :/
