Negligibly, if at all. The seat base requires a riser in order for the bottom of the seat to clear it, and once I had everything adjusted to be comfy I only had to move the rear view mirror a tiny bit. I believe there are lower seat bases than the Planted one if that's what you're after, and I know of a few people who have modified them to maximize headroom.

A friend suggested that I try a foamectomy in mine. Today after seeing your seat I went out and while poking around, seriously considered it for the first time.

Went to a concert tonight for the first time in years.

Pretty intimate venue- Slim's in SF, if you've heard of it.

I actually didn't go for the headliner band, lol. I went for the 2nd opener, which is actually a band that's mostly been retired for the past 10+ years.

It was super nice as a way to destress because I've had a lot going on lately. But also because a friend - who passed away back in 2014 from lung cancer - was the person who introduced me to this band's music, way back in like 2001.

So it was a kind of nice way to reconnect with an old friend, so to speak, and in more ways than one, since this was coincidentally also the first time I'd gotten to go see and hear this band live. I guess even cooler because it's a small, rather 'unknown' band. Never as big in the alternative rock scene as the obvious bands you'd hear of, mostly an opener/support band whose songs were occasionally used in network tv shows, etc.

But yeah, it was nice. Glad I got to do it.

Well, crap. My bad habit of resisting change but then doing the thing anyways has happened again. I now own a registered LLC...

From taking apart my seat before just replacing it, the covers can be a huge pain to fully get off, particularly without damaging them. So much so that when I do replace the passenger side, I'll probably buy another occupancy sensor as opposed to trying to get the one out of the current seat.

When I eventually do sell this car, the next owner is going to need a u-haul for the stock bits, which I want to keep in working order.

What type of LLC?
It took me 3yrs to close the last one. The gov kept sending me new and revised tax notices. One was huge $1.25. It had to have cost them a lot more to do the research and paper work and the mailing.
They knew I would pay as it would take me a lot more to fight.

So, found out today that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is practically my next door neighbor now. He just bought a "small house" a couple of miles from me, and next to the high school where my kids graduated from.

Maybe I'll bump into him at the local Home Depot or Waffle House sometime....

And then become an “instagram influencer.”

Well, multi-quote hates me, so my responses have to be rudimentary.

NoHaveMSG: I'm already somewhat of an Instagram influencer, albeit still very small (800 followers) and have just started posting on YouTube as well haha but I have no base on YouTube. All that said, no way I could quit my job for any of this. It just seemed like a fun way to lose some money.

Will BRZ: I doubt I'll even get 50 subs let alone the millions required to be full time. This is all just a hobby.

Is1ac: just a single owner LLC. Basic as can be. I haven't registered the EIN yet because the IRS website has office hours, for some reason.

ichi ran into the same problem messing with his a couple years ago. I was thinking about a new sensor but am am also curious to see if I can come up with a clever way of saving the original. With your advice I'll be sure to buy one in advance.
