I'm sure this is covered somewhere in the thread but there is no way I'm reading all this right now. When I open the custom PID entry area, I don't get the last entry field. Is this only available on the paid version? If it is, it would be nice for someone to add that fact to the FAQ post. If it's not true, what the heck am I doing wrong?
I also enabled the coolant temp gauge and have an odd problem. The digital value displayed is correct, but the needle points to a different value. Any ideas?

Nice. May want to check out tetrax magnetic fastener. Works well for my S3

Under the main torque log, Adapter Status: Calibration ID.

There's a listing in this thread of vehicle-specific PIDs you can manually enter.
I looked through the whole thread and the only PIDs identified are the standard ones and one custom PID (Oil temp).

Can anyone post a link to the SAE J1979 OBDII standard that can be downloaded?
It really pisses me off that the only places I can find that doc want me to pay for it.

What a scam!

Warning, DO NOT BUY a PLx Kiwi 2 Bluetooth.

I finally got mine, it works on nothing......not my FR-S, not on a ford, not on a Chevy, not on a Dodge, not on any of my friends cars I have tried it on. All it dose is go through all the ECU protocols and than report that it cannot connect to the ECU.

Back to the cheap China one that works.......go figure

can you connect the mini bluetooth reader and another reader at the same time. or will the ecu only allow for one device to connect to it at a time?

Only one at a time, I wanted to do that with the Flux2 display and Torque through Bluetooth........UniChip Jack advised me not to as the readers will probably lock up.

Anyone having an issue with the oil temp PID? When activated, it starts reporting, but then locks up after a few minutes. Sometimes it will sporadically update, but for the most part its frozen.

While its frozen, if I go into settings and select TEST custom PID, it says no data.

I just got this, http://www.scantool.net/obdlink-mx.html

Yes it has a high price, but it works on every car I have tried it on so far.....and it really dose make the Torque app run faster, refresh rates are super fast.

The software it comes with, OBDwiz, is nice too. Still paying with this, more later, running around town with a laptop is a pain.............

Their android app, OBDlink has some cool features.....being able to change the display type without deleting it first is real nice.

Same one I have. Works well, minus the issue with my oil temperature PID.

Just got my replacement unit (some cheapo one from eBay).

It reads oil temps now, but it reports 255,000 under full throttle and 5,000 at idle.

Pretty sure it's reading something different...anyone else had a similar issue?

I'm using torque Pro.

Mine definitely isn't working. Double checked PID settings, they are correct. I think I've changed another setting in torque that might be messing with the custom PID.

Would changing the default temperature scale (F instead of C), interfere with the custom oil PID which was setup for C?
