Can anyone confirm whether or not there is a map for the GReddy CAI on the Unichip shared site? That's the one I had intended to get, as well as the Unichip. This might steer me away from the Unichip slightly if they don't have a map for GReddy parts.

I believe it's the same intake as the afe, which they've had for a while. I'll double-check when I get home

Water/meth... that's a project Tony at SBC is working on and I encourage anybody that's interest to give him a call. He's a Unichip tuner who runs his own shop so his schedule isn't within our control...

GReddy intake... we do have the Greddy intake in our map database like the other intake... by itself, with an exhaust, and with headers and an exhaust... with all of the variations.

As always, feel free to give me a call or shoot me a PM if I can answer any questions.

Cheers

The legal problems Unichip is having with E85, were you aware that this was going to be a obstacle back in January? I can't recall where I read this, but doesn't Unchip offer E85 for other cars? (I could be wrong) If so did you guys have to go through this same legal stuff before?

Thanks Jack

I would like to see a tune released for those with 30% smaller injectors running ~112 octane.

I need some help. There has to be something wrong with my chip. I keep remapping it but it doesn't seem like the maps are actually changing. I have always had the immobilizer map in slot two, but tonight if i remapped slot 1 with any normal map and immobilzer in slot 2 or even just remapping slot 1 with a normal map by its self the car will not start in either slot. Its like the immobilizer is in either slot. If i remap with normal maps in both slots the car seems to run fine, even though it seems sometimes it will go into "limp" mode.

Also I was looking at my knock detector and started with standard timing and it said -1.5 timing correction. Ok lets try the timing out map, same thing, -1.5 timing correction. Ok lets try timing in...still about -1.5 timing correction.

All this seems like to me that it is not actually changing maps...I don't think I'm doing anything wrong here. plug usb in, software says ready, press remap, select map file, check the box, hit remap, ????, profit.

You might be changing the maps but is everything actually hooked up fine on car? I had issues where my car was running too rich and it turned out that my intake hose was loose.

ML... PM sent

ScionFrsFan... the other vehicles don't have the same compliance issues because they are Flex Fuel from the OE.

Cheers

Question: I installed the Perrin intake hose with a K&N panel filter, followed by a UniChip about a week later- at which point I reset the ECU. I am now experiencing lower throttle response at low revs. Do I need to wait for the ECU to adjust, or should I be using a map for a CAI to accommodate the increased diameter of the hose?

I believe they have a Perrin CAI Map section.. also it takes a bit for the car to relearn the throttle positions until you drive it for a bit. Either that or you can do the pedal trick which is to pump the pedal up and down while the car is on accessory.

I know when I tried a stock map on my car that has a drop in, cat back, and cat delete front pipe it ran like crap, but once I loaded in the right map with some Timing+ it's just amazing.

Same question, when will the fa20club CAI maps be out.

My Mods are 4X Dragon Racing CAI (looks just like the fa20club CAI) with Agency Power Cat Back, UniChip with Flux installed.

And now my comment, I am currently using the standard Perrin with cat back map and it is OK. No CEL after a week, but I can tell it is not optimal. It is better than just the stock ECU......wish I had an A/F meter to see if its OK, but it seems fine.

I chose that map as it seemed to be the closest match for now, cant wait for the correct map so let us know when it will be ready please.

BTW, this is the best product I have run that corrects the ECU programming.....I find it more flexible than other "tuners" I have used in the past like HyperChip or Edge products. The expandability is the best part, along with the fact that I can go from one car to the next and all I need to do is load maps (or head down to my local tuner and have a map made).

Complaints, one.......I hate having to agree not to stare at the Flux every time I start the car, why cant it just boot to the last screen it was set at?
