Question Stainless steel brake line upgrade?

Hey y'all, I am curious as to whether upgrading to stainless lines all around would be a good upgrade. I don't plan on making any other major brake upgrades but it seems like stainless lines are a good way to improve brake feel overall. Thoughts? Has anyone done JUST a stainless steel line upgrade?

I did the stop-tech SS line upgrade along with new fluid. Eventually I will be changing front calipers and rotors.

I did the SS brake lines and also did the TiC MCB. The brakes feel way firmer. Feel like i can stop much faster. Planning on getting new fluid with new pads soon also.

If your looking to upgrading your brakes, Pads would give you the best bang for buck. SS lines are a worthy upgrade but i would do the pads first.

Yep, got basically the same setup (except a GrimmSpeed mcb and motul rbf600) and the pedal feel has definitely improved. Not as much fade when hard on the brakes as well.

Pads will have the greatest impact on feel. Lines will help, but you won't feel as much difference as a pad swap.

FYI...I'm about to run a Valentine's Day special on a Ferodo DS2500 pads, Spiegler SS lines, and AP Racing fluid bundle.

To improve braking, I would go

1. Pads
2. Fluid
3. Lines
4. Master Cylinder brace

Stop when it feels good

I'm very satisfied with just the master cylinder brace (so far). Just a street driven car. Pedal travel has been significantly reduced.
Other mods like : pads, brake fluid, lines and even rotors ; depends on what you want.
Tires are also important and can help reduce stopping distance and handling/traction.

In my opinion, SS lines are a very good upgrade.

Decreasing the amount of expansion in those stock lines will greatly increase the response time of your braking.

To improve braking, I'd go:
1. Tires

Then if you need higher temp pads or want more initial bite add pads and fluid if temps are a concern.

You should never be capable of boiling fluid on the street where most of these cars live, nor getting pad fade unless you are doing something wrong.

For a track car, I'd go:
1. Tires.
2. Essex Comp Sprint kit or similar with track pads and fluid
3. SS lines (I still haven't bothered to install mine) - for feel only which is the only benefit you'll see. There is no real performance benefit.
