Engine oil is where it should be. I check religiously too because I don't know where the dang oil is coming from.. do you happen to have a clue? It has to come from somewhere.. no catch cans or AOS.

Wipe the back side of the SC pulley. I bet it has a thin grimy film. The exhaust just looks like it has some shit cooked on it.

It sure is grimy and dirty. Oil is weeping out from the back. Do you know if it's SC oil or some sort of PCV blowby?

It would make sense if it's SC oil, but my SC oil level is fine, which leads me to think it's PCV blowby but I just don't understand how that is going in there, unless that is how it's supposed to be.

It's oil. Hood looks dramatic because it's white. A little goes a loooong way.


The compressor section is supposed to be isolated from the gearbox. I don't think the gearbox is vented but I'm not sure how that works. I only have experience with Sprintex units. If you can remove the filler cap and cover it with your finger while it's running, you can check for positive pressure. There should be none.


If there is, one or both of the rotor shaft seals is blown, if there is none then, meh. Unless there's a noisy bearing, change the input shaft seal when you get annoyed with cleaning stuff.
