Questions about OFT Flex Fuel Kit
Hey guys I’m thinking about getting the FLEX Fuel kit for OFT but I have a couple questions before I get it.
1. Do I need to purchase a custom e-tune in order to get the flex fuel tune? Or is there an Off the shelf tune that comes with it just like the other tunes for OFT? 2. Can I run the standard e85 OFT tune with the Flex Fuel on? 3. If I wanted to go back to my stock tune do I need to take the flex fuel kit off? 4. Is it dangerous to be running half e85 and half 91 with the flext fuel kit? (Might be a dumb question tbh) 5. Is it better to go with a different flex fuel kit / tuning company? |

1) I believe so
2) Yes but why would you? You'll have a flex fuel kit along with the flex fuel tune, meaning you can run any fuel blend you want. 3) Yes, your ECU wouldn't know what to do with the FFK on the car 4) Absolutely not and that's the beauty of a flex fuel kit 5) EcuTek tune with a @Xero-Limit Flex fuel kit is what I would recommend. |

What are some of the benefits or what’s better in general with going with acero limit instead of delicious tuning or OFT? I’m not quite familiar with that company tbh. Thank you btw for the previous info much appreciated |

The oft flex kit will works fine if your car is a Pre 2017 model.
You will need to run the fot flex fuel tune not a notmal e85 tune when you install flex kit. I believe the oft guys will give you a base flex furel tune if you purchase the kit bit check with oft guys. If you want a cusrom flex. Tune that will likey be. Exttra The ofttflex kit will work with ecutek The reason you ise flex kit and rune is so you can run any mx of petrol and ethanol. Altgough you do have to pick either 91 or 93 as the base petrol |

My concern would be how do I get the base map and since I can’t run the e85 tune with the flex fuel kit does that mean I have to just wait til OFT gets back to me with the base map and then the process of finalizing the custom e-tune before I actually run the car as my daily or is it okay to run the car with only the base map they send me? Who is more reputable tuner OFT, Delicious Tuning or XeroLimits? I just wanna go with the best one tbh. |

Whats the difference between the O2 Sensor kit and Evap kit? Does it have to do with catless exhaust?

Yes you definitly need the flex fuel tune , ready before you install the flex kit. The ecu will not know how to interpret the flex fuel input untill its flashed with flex fuel tune
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120397 Oft deliceous or xero limits are all reputable tuners Talk to the oft guys they sgould be avle to send you tune at same time they send oft flex kit. If your stating NA and car is pre 2017 then your fine with oft kit and tune. If you planning to boost then maybe xonsider ecutek but it will cost you more money for ecutek cavle, ecutek ecu licience , ecutek flex tune |

The flex kit hardware is basicly same, just witb evap connect you get wiring and connectors to hook up to evap input, and with rear 02 you get wiring and connectors to hook up to rear 02. Rear 02 connect kits on pre 2017 cars is easiest\cheapest install Wiring is also slightly different for 2017+ cars but kits essentially same |
