Right? I have an STI and an Impreza, so when we were trying to decide between the FRS and the BRZ, I was hoping for one over the other!

I totally would've went with the FRS, but good thing she didn't want some burly old nasty ugly SUV/Van/Truck.

Don't worry. If my wife thought that I was thinking of trading her in, I would no longer be a functioning male....

True! Now we just need to start picking up some parts. Been checking the classifieds on her for a OFT v2 and a full exhaust with a UEL.

When I was getting my tS, my wife was going to daily our Golf R, but she said, and I quote, “I don’t care are my car as long as I get from point A to point B.”

Next day she said she wants to trade it in to get a Crosstrek with a Manual because it’s cheaper. Decides she wants to test drive the WRX too.

Following day...she walks out with a WRX... so much for that A to B thing!

I now realize how annoying I must have been to her about my car for the last 4 years...on the bright side, I do get to shop for parts for two cars now!

That's exactly how I'm feeling, haha. It's fun to get her interested in cars, she's been looking at parts and mods like crazy.

Well it’s kinda funny, I have been following these cars since the original FT announcement back in 09, and for a while I was convinced it wasn’t for me, even after staying on these forums for so long. Well, today was the day, picked up one of the 50th anniversary cars, now I’m officially part of the club.

As of July 4th 2018, I'm a proud owner of a 2017 BRZ Inazuma (series.yellow) edition. Since trading in an M3 for a family minivan four years ago, I've been wanting to get back into a car with great handling characteristics, and the BRZ fit the bill perfectly!

Here she is:

Hi everyone! I've picked up my 2015 BRZ Limited about six months ago, but just recently discovered this forum. Absolutely love this car and can't wait to see where it goes.

2000 km and counting

Hey everyone, I've been lurking this forum the past couple weeks after purchasing my 2018 BRZ sport-tech and I'm absolutely loving the car and the community!

Just about done what I think is a reasonable break in period and can't wait to enjoy everything she has to offer!

A bit about the car... she's a 2018 BRZ Limited + Performance Package in Crystal White; ordered in December 2017 and picked up in February 2018! This is my third car, and my second Subaru, but it is my first RWD car, first manual car, and first coupe. She's got about 3,000 miles on her at this point, and I've loved every minute of it! At this point my modifications are minimal; mostly little cosmetic things. I don't plan on going hog-wild with this car, as I plan to keep it as my daily for the foreseeable future... but everyone says that Schedule permitting, I would like to start autocrossing soon... gotta get that driver mod done!

A bit about me... I'm currently working on my Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and I'm an avid and passionate member of my school's Formula SAE team!
Have you considered removing or at least temporarily disabling the sound tube that directs intake noise into the passenger compartment? It is the only mod that I have done thus far and I prefer not having wheezing engine noises competing with my tunes. Besides, no one on the outside of the car will be impressed; they can't hear it anyway.
