Was thinking of getting the 17x9 +35 rpf1's for my scion frs. Im gonna leave it on stock suspension. Are 9in wheels ok for daily driving or are wheels that wide mainly for racing? Just still want to remain functional and not worry about oversteering or understeering.

I'm on 17x9 with stock suspension. But my wheels are +45. And they sit flush with the fenders. +35 clears suspension parts more but would stick out slightly. So would require camber adjustment to clear the fenders. But someone correct me if I am wrong. If you adjust the camber to clear the fender you will likely be rubbing the stock springs. That why 90% of everyone runny 17x9 +35 run coilovers. The springs smaller diameter helps with clearance.

Ok so +45 would be more suitable for someone on stock suspension? I just dont want to have to adjust anything after putting new wheels on. So im guessing +45 is probably better than +35 since its closer to the stock wheels offset

Just to let you know the clearance is very tight with +45 but I have been on 245 tires with no issues for 2months and driven long distances. But I have sumitomo htr z iii. All tires fit differently

Why do you need 6-pots on a 165whp car?

Your fitment is relatively on point to what I'm aiming for. I just picked up a set of Rpf1 17x9 45+ 225/45/17 Bridgestone Potenza
My current setup Tein flex Z on stock wheels 25mm spacers rear 20mm front for flush fitment.
My first question is already answered as it will clear since I'm on coils
2nd question -What mm spacer would I need for a flush fitment on a 225 tire?

Probably going to inherit some 255/40/17 Dunlop Star Spec 2 from my TE-37's on my old S2000 and I think some RP's would be a suitable wheel to finish these tires off since they are almost brand new.

I daily my car and while plans are to go to coil overs at some point, my question is this is a fairly large tire (when measured) so would +45 RP's fit these alright on the stock body without rolling or rubbing? Even after coil overs Im not planning on lowering the car much at all due to daily driving.

Im not into the stance "life style" Im just looking for practicality.

You'll need coilovers for spring clearance. Lower offset will help like 35-40
