Yep! I was at a track day working with a coach and he pitted me in. First thing he asked, "Are you remembering to breathe?". You don't really think about it, but when you're hung off with a knee scraping the pavement, tires slipping, bike wigging around....breathing is not a top priority. You're just thinking, "Don't screw up!!! Don't screw up!!".

Yeah....arm pump and cramps suck. I often skipped the last session or two and just started packing up because I'd be so cramped up. Even the old pickle juice and mustard trick didn't work. LOL!

Did you eventually learn coaxing over total control? Not joking. It was a specific moment for me when I was around 15, I think. RM400.

I especially like how it insulates the engine.

hmmm ....... not sure what you mean by that ......??

As far as "insulating the engine", I finally made the body "quick disconnect" because the chain was always coming off ......

Yep, riding one of those, going down a gravel road, will quickly learn ya lots of riding techniques ......

Maybe it's a mixture of me being so young / first car thing, but besides what I've done to my car so far (Muffler delete, Perrin Intake Hose / Sound generator delete, K&N Air and Oil Filters) I feel like the car is plenty fast, even in the torque dip range.

idk

I came from a tiny turbo 1.6l and the torque tip was painful when I first got the BRZ. Have gotten used to it and a tune made it almost unnoticeable. Car feels amazing now.

Hate to be the party pooper, but nothing you have done makes the car faster, just sound shitty.
