Anaconda 42.7 (w/Ace OP) with OE Frontpipe and OE muffler. Measured at the crank

This was done a few years back with no tune. Delicious Tuning has made significant improvements since this test.

The Anaconda series are designed for race/high rpm use, as anything below 3800rpm has very little torque

first track day with A-350, it was definitely a pleasant surprise and the header itself is quit nice both performance and quality. However I blew a gasket that seats between the header and the up-pipe, it is a two hole gasket that is made of a metal sandwich with asbestos like materials in the middle. I do not believe it is a common gasket so I am having trouble finding a better quality piece to replace it with. Is there a way to purchase a full metal gasket? I foresee this happening again if the same material gasket is replaced.

Sorry this happened to you. Has anyone else had this issue?

We will happily replace original owner gaskets for the life of the header.

Is the ACE front pipe meant for the OEM up pipe/exhaust? Or what is the design theory behind the smaller inlets/outlets? Does this create a bottleneck when paired with the A350?

The tapered ends create a small venturi and helps the gas evacuate quicker.

Exhaust gasses come in a pulse. By placing merges and pipe diameter changes in the correct place, you can create small vacuum areas. These vacuums help the gas be pulled through the pipes to form a smoother wave pattern and allow the engine to breathe better.

That's why Smooth is Fast

I might have missed it in this thread or others but I am debating on which header to get and am torn between the A350 and the CS400. Are there dyno charts comparing the two?

You'll get a hard time finding this information on the same dyno with same fuel and same high quality tune.

I would use 400 on a road or AutoX car.
On a track or road + track car, the 350.

With a Delicious tune.

Fix for Header in Contact with Undertray

I installed my Ace Type A 350 header. Serial number 86–0020. Header coated with Cerakote glacier black ceramic coating inside and out. Header installed without difficulty. I raised the engine about 35mm after unbolting passenger side motor mount and backing nuts out on driver side mount. Rear header section slipped into the over-pipe location with generous clearances.

Header in hard contact with installed metal under tray using OEM hardware. I lowered the tray 8mm at the rear and 3mm at front using 18 each 1.5"" x 1/8" 5/16 black rubber washers and four each flange head M8x30-1.25mm bolts. Hard plastic washers are available and in thicknesses up to 3/8". I would use those instead of the rubber washers. Rear Fiber cover flexed downward to use OEM bolts to attach to tray. Visual inspection revealed approx. 5mm clearance between top of tray and header.

Header attached to OEM exhaust without drama. I used flange bolts and nuts in lieu of studs with nuts throughout. Pleased with sound levels. Specially after running a muffler delete pipe for 2016 season.

Delicious Tuning Flex Fuel kit and ACE header stg 2 tune will be installed soon.

A special shout out to @David and @Mike at Counterspace Garage and @Zack at Delicious Tuning for the help getting to this point in my build.

Does anyone know off hand what the thread pitch is on the overpipe flange that connects to the header? I thought it was M6x1.25 but wanted to make sure.
