Questions OFT Stage 1

I just got my OFT today and flashed 91oct stage 1 tune.

First things I noticed where A/C wasn't as cold as Stock. Does anyone know about this? (*Things to note, while i was flashing, door was open, i closed it and i found out i wasn't supposed to, the ventilation button and A/C button were depressed while flashing if that makes a difference. omw home I stopped and re-flashed to stock, A/C was back to being cold again.)

Second thing to note, while I was reversing out of my garage, there felt like a dead spot right under 1k-700 rpms. Sorry no logs on it, but yeah. I felt it, car was almost stalling but I gave more throttle which helped, but it wasn't like that before.

Lastly, Cruise control was not working. I was on the freeway going 70 mph and my CC light wasn't turning on at all.

Any help with these problems is highly appreciated.

Another thing to note, I had increased gas mileage on the freeway with 8-10% throttle, like when I increased, like 34-36 mpg.

Also, my butt dyno did notice some changes, and all for the better.

OFT tunes change nothing to do with air conditioning system
only the engine ecu paramaters are altered

You can get a laggy throttle after a flash, read links below re Flashing Reset Learning

Cruise control is disabled on P0420 cel code, is cel light on , check for error codes

is your header stock or aftermarket catted header some will trigger cel code P0420
note any error codes then reset with oft.

Thanks for the reply, I'll read up on "flashing reset learning"

But yeah, noticeable difference in AC temp even though it shouldn't be affected

And I didn't have a CEL it just wasn't activating. I drive for 25 miles to get to school so I kinda know how to use CC, but yeah.

And for headers, rn it's stock, I have the OFH In my garage waiting.

After you have completed flash and started car, turn off ignition then. try removing a battery terminal for a minute to reset all cars control modules.

then statt let it idle for a minute then see if its ok.

I just reflashed to stage one from stock this morning. All the problems were fixed. I drove below 4k for the most part to let the ECU figure everything out. But yeah. The dead spot is not as noticeable (and when I say this, i mean I think its all in my head) , but I'm sure it'll fix itself.

And Also random question, Is there Launch control for the OTS V2.0x tunes? or do we still have to wait for the updated XML files for the V2 tunes? I was really interested in LC.

If I plug the OFT in after the car is started - with the A/C on, the A/C will turn off and you can't turn it back on until you cycle the ignition.

Thans @R2 appreciate the info.

And yeah @Chimera I live in Cali but its been chilly here atm. But I love to drive with AC considering I bought my first car (Civic EK) from my cousin who had headers, tune, short shifter, stage 1 clutch, later which I added a short ram, but most importantly NO AC which was why I was concerned about the AC temp being altered since it felt like I was driving a car with no AC all over again

launch and ffs only on manual roms
all C series have launch controll except DOOC version
its set at about 5000 rpm, if you want to adjust it see Tune Tweaks thread or OFT TIPS links below always use the oft definitions and use V2 defs with V2 tunes V1.5x defs only for V1.5x tunes

@steve99 Steve man, I have to thank you a lot. You're always quick to respond, and have most threads that help out the noobs out there such as myself to learn more about tuning and OFT everyday. Appreciate all your help.
