Irony

I'm pretty sure it still counts as irony. There's 'dramatic irony' where a future event is foreshadowed. So like when an actor in a play says "I love the ocean and swimming" and then later drowns or something.

Grade school stuff is funny like that. Some guy I worked with always insisted on being right, and one day took it so far as to argue over the greater than and less than symbols (> & <) and he was getting angry! I was like, wtf are you serious? The little alligator always wants to eat the bigger meal!
