What parts? Seems like the motor blew up, please confirm? For the sake of all our sanity...

If I'm correct can you tell me if you have any rub? I also noticed the last posting mentioned engine failure. Care to comment? I would still gladly accept 4psi instead of 9.

Thnx.

Hey guys, no engine failure yet, we are just waiting on clutch and fuel pump...

The wheels are linked in the first post, they are 18s not 19s.

Amazing. Does the traction control still work if you want it?

Dustin,

I want to thank you for your quick reply. I believe your company is on the leading edge in regards to the turbo on this platform. I have no experience with aftermarket turbos but have to say that Dynosty numbers are very impressive. Is it possible to create 6psi and keep it around 280whp+- with the kit with a couple of changes? Also I understand that the wheels are 18's and the offset on the rear is +40 but is there any rubbing when running 255's? Every one else seems to be pushing the 245 option. Thanks again and I look forward to buying the kit. My first mod was the Dynosty sound generator delete. Keep killing those rear tires.

^ no problem, thanks for your support! Yes very easy to create a 6psi sub 300whp map for the kit. No changes necessary just simply turn down the boost. No rubbing out of the 255s in the rear even with it slammed as it is. I plan to raise it a 1/2" it is a little too low for my liking. Yea a set of R888s are in the future for the rear to stick.

^^ yes sir traction control works

As everyone has basically said already...WOW!!

Great job and congrats on the work that you have done. I have to be honest when buying the car, I was satisfied with the power output. It was built as a driver's car and it definitely delivers in that category,...but eventually I am sure I will want more just like any car lover. I have concerns with legalities though. This is my daily driver in CA and the last thing I need is for the Police to ticket me or even worse take my car away because it is illegal. I had this issue with my first car a 240sx w/SR20DET...those are still illegal here in CA unless you have some kind of special permit as a demo/show car for a company (like Greddy for example, they had an S15 for a while running around here). So my question is...is there any intention to make this a 50-State kit? or is this an off-road kit only (assuming a kit is finalized which I am fairly sure there will be) for us in CA? Greddy used to sell 50-State kits. They were mild for sure, but once you have them in there and had that CARB sticker...you can pretty much use you "imagination" what we would do with that kit Those kits were not very expensive at the time, but I don't mine paying in order to not have to worry about it. Thank you for reading...and either way I still look forward to reading about all the progress on the car. It is cool to see what that factory motor can do instead of all of these other motors being "transplanted" into the FT 86. That does not help the people who actually drive these cars on the road and are using the factory motor Have A Good One!

How do you go camping in KY if you cannot use your window tents?

In CA it's only legal if the company writes a sizable check to make it legal.
