What's My Motor And Tran Worth???

Still contemplating a swap. That said trying to get an idea what my motor and trans are worth. 2015 FRS, 6-speed manual, 49K miles, 1 adult (old)owner, No mods just my commuter. Thought I'd ask here as there is probably more experience selling running gear here with the swaps. What's the going rate for something like this??

Also,, better to leave running as a local buyer may want to hear run??

Thxs

Engine: 30K miles, 2013 BRZ

I had mine for sale for around 2 months. Started at $2700, then $2500. Lots and lots of lowball offers, lots of people "interested" but not pulling the trigger....

Wanted to go lowest at around 2250... Ended up letting it go for 2000 locally picked up.

Transmission: Listed it for $700, had a guy pay $750 shipped, ended up making right about $500 on that one. Sold a bit sooner than the engine.

Don't shy away from shipping this stuff. It's not that hard. Just need to find a pallet behind walmart and wrapping/strapping it good. The rest takes care of itself.

Good luck!

I need a motor if you do decide to make a swap. I'm in Jax, Fl and could make the drive down. I'm looking at getting something within the next month or so. Only thing I would have to check on if the trans matters. I have an auto, I would think it would bolt up but not 100% sure.

There is a vac pump and a couple of other minor things added for the AT but you could just transfer them over.

First thing is I'm waiting for an Oil Pan from Australia. Need to take measurements to see if it'll match the GTO pan. Probably a couple of weeks as I'm not sure how they ship stuff from there. If that looks good and everything else between now and then (additional research) I could be ready. Not exactly sure on a price yet but $2700 sounds good. Again 2015 owned just over two years (bought with 90 miles on it), 49K highway miles,, driven by old man, no track days, no mods. Motor is tight runs strong. I'll want the AC compressor just in case the LFX one doesn't work. I'll keep you advised. Thanks!
