LOL looks like what I'm seeing here, is a discussion between on one hand, engineer-types, and on the other hand, pragmatic/mechanic-types.

Engineer: I set the torque spec for a reason, why don't you take the 30 seconds to pull out a torque wrench and make sure it's right?

Mechanic: Ain't nobody got time for that, don't you see this line of 15 cars waiting to be done behind this one?!

I'm an engineer and I don't like torque specs. But that may be because I'm not a mechanical engineer and I have to work on the stuff in the field where half the time you can't even fit a torque wrench on there. As long as I can get signals through the system and nothing falls on me I'm happy.

Just let me know when you're free and we'll bust it out, shouldn't take more than a few minutes! And don't worry about paying in boba, save it for some tools
Sure! I was thinking this week but changed my mind to sometime early next week if that works?

I'm washing/detailing my car for the first time Saturday, so I was thinking it'd be better to keep that part of the bumper free/clear this time just so I can give everything the once over.

Haha, I'm a mechanical engineer and hate torque specs too. I just know I have to go through some trouble to come up with them, so I feel obligated to use them.

Haven't picked one up yet but leaning toward Maguiars. Need to make a trip out to the store later.
