Ebay Sickspeed Differential Cover
Anyone try this product out?
I'm going to be changing my differential fluid out and was thinking of putting this on just for fun. At $60 compared to others at $500, I'm not too hopeful, but if its decent, why not? Anyone get this and feel the quality is decent? |

I'm talking a bit out of my ass here since I have zero experience with this part but I don't think sickspeed could pay me to put their differential cover on my car. I'm not saying the $800 ones are infinitely better and are the only way you'll ever get a good differential cover but I am saying that when it comes to something like this, I don't trust a $60 part made by an aftermarket company.

I read this thread before and I suppose I was looking for a more thorough answer, but instead of creating this thread I guess I should have just asked in the thread you linked. Thanks |

It's been on the car for a couple months and one track day and it's working great with temp sensor installed. No leaks, no warpage, good temps. |

I think I read somewhere that the factory one is also aluminum so it's light as it is. The increased oil capacity and extra aluminum will add more weight but should offer more cooling.

increased oil volume isn't one adding more cooling, but just like with BBKs - more heat capacity. What adds cooling is 1) extra ribs for faster heat exchange to air & 2) some of those covers have for external oil cooler lines ports.
