Sorry, I wasn't specific enough. I understand the kit will still fit, but will Five:AD release a kit for the new colors Steel / Halo?

5AD by Longo wrongo

Longo installed mine when new and while the install is OK (JUST)
The paint is falling off the front spoiler and reveals no primer or prep for that matter. I'll be pulling it off and doing it right later in the spring.

You can buy the kit unpainted and have a shop color match your car !

If everything work out i will keep the car for a long time. I have been thinking about removing the front lip, but I really like how I can scrape the bumper and don't care.

You're in a very unique situation. Have you given any consideration to perhaps parking this one and transferring all your bits and pcs to another FRS in the future. With your ride being number 1, there will be a value in time that no other owner can match. Definitely something to think about. I'm in for the long haul as well.

Some of my friends think I have been to careful with my tune or modification, because they think it will be a normal frs. I was offered wide body and refuse due to cutting of panels. I will still continue modifying it, I also bought a daily to limit the mile I drive on it. I am aware the car will have unique history but only time will tell.

Any of you guys having issues with your sideskirts? Purchased the car with the kit from the dealer last year June. I already had problems with the sideskirts being partially detached and blocking the driver side door. The dealer kinda fixed it but the front part of the skirts are still not fully attached. Any idea on how to fix it?

Would you guys recommend purchasing the kit prepainted or have a local shop paint match it for a Whiteout (3ZJ) color ? I'm worried about it not matching if it's prepainted

From what I've heard in other cases, contact five axis and the will have someone help you. Dealership installs are inconsistent and that's what makes the sides peel off. If it is a real 5AD kit fitment should be spot on.

I'm in the same boat. Well, it's not really blocking the door, but you can tell that it's "sliding" a little. As I'm no longer in the area (or state) where I bought the car, I didn't even know where to begin to get this fixed.

On a side note, I found the previous owner of my car many pages back in this thread, so that's kinda cool.

It is the original Five axis kit. The side skirts had the stamp of five axis in it. The dealer had a hard time trying to fix it. It works ok right now but fitment is off in the front part of the skirts. I will try to contact Five Axis. Thanks
