Site suggestion for Drag Racing Section
I feel we need an entire Drag Racing section. Somewhere where we can talk about different topics suspension adjustments, tires, clutch tricks, launching aids, 1/4 mile times for N/A, 1/4 mile times for FI, drag car builds, ect..
Yes we all know these cars are great for turns and such, but the type of racing differs per person and preference. For reference you can take a quick look here. They have their racing section divided up for the Road Race/Autocross/Drag guys. http://www.k20a.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=53 http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...ette-topics-8/ Thank you for your time. |

It's not going to happen sorry. It's the least popular of all the automotive sports(for this car), so if anything, it would be the last to get a change.

We tried doing this for drifting a while back and it was a no go, and there are quite a big t more people on this forum that drift these cars compared to those drag racing them.
Chances are it's not happening and you'll be told to just create a thread within the forum section. We have a single page that's like 30 pages long that is focused solely on drifting. I still do think having the Motorsports section divided up into categories would be a nice change but the ones running the site don't really care for the idea.

Wow~ so much hate. I don't remember seeing drift request thread.
Anyways, I agree that there aren't much drag for the twins... but drift, I don't see any reason not to. I'll suggest to have a different motorsport sections (track, autox, rally, drag & drift) & let's see what Hachi say. |

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79652 ^it was actually for all forms of racing, but myself and a few others we're talking about drifting specifically during the conversation. And no hate here. It was a suggestion and the administration determined that it wasn't necessary. That's fine. I just personally think, as do many others, it would jump at help organize information and make it easier to find those who are searching for it

Would not just doing a sticky thread on each type in the existing track sub get the same thing done? At least they won't get buried that way. Each person interested in a certain type of racing could start a thread with the description of the type and @ichitaka05 could sticky it.

I know it wouldn't give the race guys a place to put separate threads but at least they could keep the important stuff up front. Just a thought.

http://www.gtrlife.com/forums/topic/...mile-rankings/ A drag racing section will be useless in the forum. Its much better to do a Sticky Thread of the Fastest Times. Also, That will be great for the other Drag Projects coming up (Full Blown, FT86PROJECT9S, ETC) We can start with our record: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...hlight=fiebruz |
