Why does it stutter when I accelerate?
I am at a red light or the car is stopped and it stutters. It is close to 3k miles and been 4 months since Ive had the car. I don't go too hard on it, I am gentle most of the times except when I let others test drive it. Also recently it has been rattling when I turn it on, is the response since its getting cold?

I don't have either of those issues at 13,000 miles. I also don't let other people 'test drive' my car.

Need a little more clarity, there might be other topics on this type of issue already.
It happens when you're stopped and then start to accelerate? Or just when stopped? I'm assuming your talking about your RPM fluctuating |

It happens when I am stopped and I accelerate. Its not smooth and its not natural, I have never had a car do this before.

I felt like this was happening to me while I was test driving an a/t. But it only happened in the paddle shifter mode and when I was decelerating to a stop. But I think it was caused by the rpm drop

When you hit the gas off the line, the RPM's will raise to 1000 then drop to 600 then jump to 1100+? Not these exact numbers but basically the tach looks erradic. Does is stop stuttering and smooth out once you get up to speed?

I think you're experiencing the idle dip? You're talking about when you are completely stopped and your RPMs just suddenly drop a bit? If so, you might want to check with your dealership to get your ECU updated (There was a TSB)
