It says that you also have to buy the day-time running light

I bought (2) SU00302583. I know its not the right part. I have decided to take out the 2 red wires with connectors and install them into my harness.

Can someone confirm that the black wire in the harness is the ground? Planning to tap into that wire to ground the fog lights.

This leaves me 2 sets of wires green and black color left from the harness. Anyone want to buy the sets. $15 a set ...... just wanted to off set what I paid already.

Someone mentioned earlier in thread that the black was not a ground. I had assumed it was.

yes you can use the black wire as a ground. and your new pin would be your power.

Hybrid Harness

You pop the pins and combine the two harnesses. Also you do not need to take the front bumper off. Just reach up by the headlight and detach the harness. They are both visible from the wheel well. The only cutting you have to do is on the Y harness ground. I simply popped the pin from OEM USA plug and reattached it to the Y (soldered etc). Honestly if I did it again I would create my own Y ground from the OEM turn signal to the H11, and install the missing pin to the harness and call it a day. The hybrid plug still uses a pigtail like the Subaru guys are having to do. I will say that my install was super clean though:

Bump in case someone is still interested in the stalk route.

Just got this from Nigel and I will install it this Saturday.

Front and Rear fog light with NO AUTO!

Unfortunately no part number came with the switch.

Here's the Stock Code:
SU00302583

Can someone at Toyota verify if this is the harness that we need so we can do this fog light plug n play?
Sorry I'm a little slow and just wanted to clarify if this harness replaces the current harness and that no repinning will be required?

yeah that's out the window by now heh.

This is not the right part. The guy selling this part online didn't show the part number. You're better off buying the USD version or the version from iishi motors ( depending if you want a push button fog switch or a switch on the stalk.

That is not the correct part. That is only the standard cable that connects to the signal light. I made the mistake and purchased this part as well. I was misled by the diagram that indicates its a Y cable but it actually is not at all.

Still looking for an OEM part, but seems like I need to make one afterall. Now only if I can find those female pin connectors. Rona & Parts Source was no help.
