Do you mean the pink springs by JDM STI? So are you recommending JDM STI springs over RCE?

I'm getting my B6 installed today and I have TRD springs. I'll give you a review soon.

The *only* difference is that the B8 has reduced droop travel. B6 can go just as low as B8. I called Bilstien last year and spoke to a tech, he dug up the drawings and called me back and related this to me.

Only reason for B8 is if springs are low and stiff enough that they become unseated at full droop which shouldn't be the case for lowering springs at less than 1" drop, or even 1.5" drop.

I'd go B6 to maintain more droop travel.

This thread has me thinking a lot about the bilsteins I had on my 240z. I feel like I haven't fully explored the potential of the stock dampers but...

I feel ya. I just put the PP Sachs dampers on my car and it was a marked improvement, but now that the B6's are available again I'm starting to think...

Ugh, I DON'T need them.

...I don't need them...

I have been looking for Bilsteins for a long time now. I just found that they are available again ... who knows how long though.

For comfort, yes. However there is now dramatically more body roll on the track with 200 tread wear tires. I think it’s fine for canyon roads in terms of body roll.

And yes JDM STi springs. I have heard the USDM springs are the same though.

I’ve been happy with B6/SpecR springs in an Evo and the BRZ. They’ll be going in a FiST when the shocks become available. Note that the front Bilstein directions say to remove the front bump stops. The rears say to reuse the bump stops, but I personally cut off at least as much of the thicker end as the springs drop (25mm for the rear SpecR).

I just received all parts; Bilstein B6 shocks and Eibach Pro springs. I will wait until end of March for installation together with replacing the snow tires/wheels. Garage is too cold right now.

If I was doing tracking frequently, I would have bought RCE yellow springs. But I thought Eibach (or TRD) springs would be more comfortable on the street.

Thank you all for the inputs.

Edit: I think I am all set for installation. I will have a loaner spring compressor when I am installing. Did I forget anything?
